Riley Braves the Spotlight on TLC’s “My Strange Addiction”
-
Riley is about as brave as they come. For the past several years, she has been documenting her gender transition online. Her blogs, ProtectionBlog and Let’s Get SRS are filled with uplifting video entries, on everything from her exciting adventures in California and New York, to cute pink ruffles and fluffy diapers. It’s hard not to smile when you encounter someone like Riley. She lives her life in bold and boisterous ways, allowing us to glimpse into her day-to-day life and share the excitement of her personal journey.
Personally, I’m excited that someone like Riley has taken to the spotlight to talk about adult babies and age play. Her ability to articulate her feelings and convey her enthusiasm for life is exactly what we need to see in the media. I have no doubts that Riley recognized her opportunity to dispel the media’s misconceptions of the ABDL lifestyle and spoke with conviction.
The episode airs on July 24. Check your local listings.

amazingly brave i commend u and u b u!!!
I just watched this episode, I've never been driven to talk to anyone on a reality show before but Riley's story touched my heart. She is so very NOT alone! There are so many AB sites, so many people she could get to know from those sites and meet in real life – but meeting anyone online-to-offline can be dangerous, there are ways to make it safe. My hope is that Riley can find other adult babies and have a great time with sleepovers and play-dates! ~ Raven, mentor-mama to an adult baby boy who also loves to be a girl.
P.S. – there are adult babies who play sexually, but there are also "100% non-sexual age play" groups – ABs should always be careful who they choose to play with, and never for one moment play with anyone that makes them feel less than nurtured and happy :)
Riley did a great job. They worked hard to try to spin things negatively, but her own tenacity and self-esteem shone through brightly. Way to go!
i would love to meet riley.. she is so cute, and she is the kind of girl i would like to meet..
This is what people are getting into in 2011.
